Our aim is to raise awareness, generate funding, work with like-minded individuals and provide transparency to all of our active projects.

Every donation counts. Make a difference today.

Objective

Poaching, habitat loss and human-wildlife conflicts are the central threats to Africa’s wildlife. By partnering with leading conservationists and foundations across Africa, the Elephant Gin Foundation invests into the most suitable initiatives to nurture and help maximise the impact on the ground.

Founders Tessa and Robin Gerlach’s great love for the African wilderness and especially elephants, is what drives the Elephant Gin Foundation.

In 2013, the couple founded Elephant Gin with the goal of creating a gin that would carry the African Spirit to Europe while giving back to the continent that inspired them for the venture. From the first bottle sold, Elephant Gin has donated 15% of the bottle profits and has raised over EUR 1,000,000 for elephant conservation projects in Africa.

About Elephant Gin

Inspired by the traditional sundowner experience after a day out in the African bush, Elephant Gin produces handcrafted premium gin products using fourteen botanicals, including rare African ingredients. The company is committed to giving back to what inspired the gin in the first place and contributes 15% of bottle profits to elephant conservation projects.
